I use the same medical supply the doctors make body casts with. I make the balloon, then wrap it in wet medical material, then paint it. So same method as a cast for when you break a bone. An American told me though, you might not be able to purchase this material in the states because of the type of medical supply it is so she suggested if not try the "paper mache" (children know this method) method.
